A Thank You Note to Dee Kumar...

This week, we were asked to watch a video by one of Dee Kumar’s favourite authors, Malcolm Gladwell. The main purpose of this I feel was to cement exactly how important last weeks lesson was. Honestly speaking, I didn’t really need reminding, I saw the massive potential last week, however the video was still very inspiring and offered great value. I’m sure my fellow bloggers will reveal some of the content of this video, however I have fantastic news to reveal this week, I made a sale thanks to Dee Kumars’s Online Marketing MBA course!!

If you read my post last week, you will know that I thought last weeks unique approach to Elevator Pitches was truly amazing. I felt I had gained so much from this and was raring to go and test my pitches out in the real world! Last week I managed to carefully craft 11 pitches, ensuring that they all complied with the secret 7 components that Dee had advised.

I spent time memorising my pitches, making sure I knew them and my service offerings inside out. I thought carefully about how I would continue the conversation once I had managed to grab and hold a potential clients attention after delivering my initial pitch. I was absolutely buzzing, I could feel the transformation happening in my business already, even though I was yet to test these new business tactics out.

I had gathered a list of potential clients that I was planning to phone the following day. I was pleased with my progress so far, and decided to treat myself to a pint! I popped into my local pub, and on the complete off-chance bumped into someone that is selling items on eBay, and doing very well for himself. My eyes turned green and without even thinking… BOOM… I hit him with one of my pre-prepared pitches! It worked a treat, his body language changed instantly, he leaned in and I had his full attention.

I held his interest and continued selling to him. I identified another service of mine which would be useful to his business… BOOM… I reeled him in even further! Before he even had time to recover, I walked out smiling, having just sold him not one, but TWO of my services!! I was absolutely stoked, thank you so much Dee, I can most definitely say that these sales came from The Online Marketing MBA course.

It’s only been a few weeks, and Dee has already made me a customer! I cannot recommend Dee Kumar and the Online Marketing MBA course enough. What more testimony do you need? OK granted, I was a little lucky in finding the customer, and also lucky that he didn’t have a website; despite the fact he was running a very successful eBay Store himself. However without everything Dee has taught me about my own business, I very much doubt that this sale would have went down so smoothly.

What more can I say? Dee Kumar delivers exactly what he says he will. He has improved my business and made me sales… cold hard cash!! Dee is the real deal without question. This is only Module 2 of the Online Marketing MBA course, I simply cannot wait for more modules, and most importantly… more sales too!

    Thanks Chris!
Yes it’s definately a good thing to do, look back at all the pitches you created for your business and how you would sell each one further.

Congratutions on your first sale attributable to the Online Marketing MBA. We are still only at the start of our journey so much more can be learn Dee Kumar , just the thought is mind blowing. As for luck in business well in my experience their is no luck that you have not made and the harder you work at the ten per cent rule the more successful you will be.
If you have not been ready to convert that customer you would not necessarily have got that business, because you had done your homework you could convert the sales, well done I look forward to reading loads more examples of your success.
